Time to get on to the details and finish this up so this morning was a sanity check on positioning. I'll be leaving the bottom quarter or so rough on purpose to keep it from detracting from the head and shoulders.
Mistakes have been made. I really should have painted the hairy fringe stuffed into the top of the corset before the fur stoles. It's going to take some fixing.
I think I am satisfied that this is clearly not a wig.
I've got a product I haven't tried before coming that may very much change what I have in mind for painting the fur, ...yet another bit of modern chemistry that's only been around post-WWII.
It's starting to work. The hairline is looking more "hair", less "wig" now, but this has to dry so I can work it a little further without FUBARing what I've already done.
