That's a bag a sawdust. I didn't catch the exact weight they were using for the event, but the sheaf is usually between 16 and 20 lbs. For the sake of reference, the very heaviest ten-pin bowling balls are 16 lbs. The idea is to pitch it over a cross-bar for height. |

valerian and I spent the day at the Scottish Games yesterday.
The clan tents and highland military tents. An amusing highlight of the day was walking up to the Seaforth Highlander tent and having a woman wearing all black that was working in the tent insist on introducing us to her goth children, who, as it turned out I have photographed at Sin City before. Goths amongst the Picts - lol.
