I've got a can of matte black spray paint coming tomorrow to fix up this rescued-from-the-garbage frame from work. We've got a matboard cutter at work and I found the blade holders on Friday so I considered cutting some of the massive pile of scrap matboard we have that came out of frames like this. But I decided to do something other than academic art gallery white. My first thought was to pick up some matboard and take it in to cut, but I found a place online that does custom cutting for less than it would have cost get an Evo to go buy the board and then go into the gallery and back to cut it (different if I was going in anyway, but I'm off for the next couple weeks, so not worth it.) Not to mention the bonus of not needing to go into a craft or art-supply store the weekend before Hallowe'en. So sometime next week I'll have the painting framed. via Instagram
