Green and red don't always make brown

A civilised moment.

The drink above is a "tomate" - French absinthe prepared the traditional way with water poured over a sugar cube through a slotted spoon, but then with a few drops of grenadine added. If you remember "Goodies" candy-coated licorice candies then you know what this tastes like. A sip of this takes me back to my grandmother's cottage. The cigar is a Haitian Macanudo petit corona café - my favourite. The patio furniture is a recent purchase from, believe it or not, Canadian Tire.
